Plotline
When Johnny Blaze, a motorbike rider, learns that his beloved father Barton Blaze has terminal cancer, he makes a deal with Mephistopheles in which he trades his soul for the life of his father.
But the devil tricks him, and while performing, Barton is killed in a motorbike accident.
Johnny departs from the funfair, his hometown, his pals, and Roxanne, his romantic partner.
Years later, Roxanne is working as a television reporter when they reconnect.
Johnny Blaze is now a well-known motorcyclist who puts his life in danger for his shows. But Mephistopheles offers to let Johnny out of his bond if he becomes the “Ghost Rider” and vanquishes his wicked son Blackheart, who wants to take control of a thousand evil souls and turn Earth into hell.
